The project was a total of 215,000SF with live utility lines inside Project consisted of the demolition of an existing strip mall to make This 43,250SF project was completed in just 4 weeks. Our Safety Director was on site every day during this process and our trucking division (Big Dog Roll-Off, Inc.) helped make this project finish without incident on schedule. Big Dog contended with heavy pedestrian traffic, difficult truck routes and a very aggressive schedule. Three buildings were demolished on the busiest intersection in downtown Atlanta. In addition to the hundreds onlookers, the Americus-Sumter County High School Singers provided a musical backdrop to the demolition and members of the hospital's auxiliary guild provided baked goods.īig Dog Companies was honored to be part of this historic event as Sumter Regional Hospital begins the first stages of development on a $125 million state-of-the art facility. ![]() The hospital raffled off tickets for the chance to be first to pull the first bricks with Big Dog Companies equipment from the tornado-stricken hospital. ![]() ![]() Following a "First Strike Demolition Celebration" on December 20, Big Dog Companies was able to help Sumter Regional Hospital usher in a new era in the hospital's history.
